The House
Built in 1891, and the former home of A.E. Cross, one of The Big Four, The Cross House is a designated Calgary Municipal and Province of Alberta Heritage site. The house is nested on the banks of The Bow River in the beautiful and historic community of Inglewood. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Calgary, and offer ample free parking.
Rich with atmosphere, ROUGE is an ideal venue for your dining experience or event. We offer many alternatives for your gatherings, lunch and dinner.
Your dining experience may be enjoyed in a number of different areas of The House including, The Dining Room, The Atrium, and The Parlor. All offer a warm and vibrant atmosphere.
Seasonally, the outdoor garden and patio are available for dining and private functions. The garden area covers 6 city lots and is adorned with enormous trees, flowers, and native shrubs. It truly is a retreat from the every day.

Well named for the spectacular artwork prevailing, The Gallery is the former master bedroom of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Cross. The Gallery can accommodate your group of up to 40 people.
